I was very kindly invited to speak at Glee Birmingham as part of their seminar programme, which took place in September.
The 3 day event is described as the UK’s most valuable garden and outdoor living trade show, showcasing the freshest and most exciting brands, amazing new products and inspiring garden retail insights.
I utilised my two sessions to tell the story of Life at No.27, it’s growth since the launch in 2015 and now how it is developing into the Life at No.27 Social Enterprise. As well as how the subject of health and wellbeing offers a multitude of opportunities for garden retailers and brands to communicate the benefits of gardening to a wider audience, helping to build real relationships and widen customer bases.
Both talks were attended by a great mixture of brands exhibiting at the show, as well as retailers. Creating an interactive and important platform to hear personal stories from audience members and find out about other initiatives that retailers and organisations are planning around the subject of mental health and wellbeing.
