Our weekly guided mindfulness walks start in Craig-Y-Nos this Friday, at 9am.
Come join us on a 1 hour guided mindfulness walk, within Craig-Y-Nos Country Park and the Life at No.27 Therapy Garden.
We will walk slowly and with the intention to connect to ourselves and the nature surrounding us. We will take time to sit, notice, and engage with our senses and the environment throughout the walk. Exploring the changing seasons and offering ourselves time to be in the moment.
A hot cup of tea, coffee, or herbal tea will also be provided.
The walk will always be gentle, slow, and flat, going at the pace needed to support the group. Due to the terrain and potential changing weather, I always suggest packing a waterproof coat and boots or trainers.
We offer three prices, £2, £5 and £10, to ensure accessibility to all, so please choose what you can afford.

FAQ:
- I have never done mindfulness before, can I still come?
- Absolutely, the walks are a very gentle introduction to mindfulness and are ultimately an offering to spend time in nature and focusing on yourself, away from life’s stresses.
- What is involved? Will I have to talk or share?
- The walks are a 1 hour long slow and gentle walk within nature. Terrain includes flat pathways and a short boardwalk section. We will take opportunities throughout the walk to sit or lean on a tree for 5-10 minutes, rest and connect to our surroundings.
- There will be no scheduled, set time for sharing or conversation, so it will be entirely up to you if you want to chat with others. I do recommend keeping noise and conversation to a minimum during the walk to ensure that you enjoy all the benefits on offer.
- I can’t walk for an hour, is it possible to still join?
- Definitely, there will be intentional opportunities to sit and rest as we walk. You are also very welcome to stop at any point as well, and take longer to rest before making your own way back to the car park.

- I struggle with sitting down and getting up, what will we be sitting on?
- We will sit on benches, mats on the floor or gently lean up against a tree. I will always carry pop up chairs as well, so that this option is available to anyone as well.

- What will happen if I book and it’s raining on the day?
- We will still meet and walk, unless it is heavy rain or the ground is unsafe. We will also provide seating so that you can still embrace the full experience of the walk no matter the weather. I would just suggest wearing waterproof clothing, so that you stay happy and cosy. If really heavy rain, high winds or severe weather conditions are forecast, we will always cancel 24 hours in advance and offer refunds.
