All our programmes are designed upon using conversation, creativity in gardening, confidence boosting exercises, mindfulness and goal setting to help you express yourself and explore any challenges.
Here we offer a range services and classes:
Annual Allotment Programme
As part of the year long programme, you are offered your own allotment plot and attendance at one or two therapy sessions at week with team members, Helen and Jenni. We provide all the basics, including tools and seeds to get you started.
Our aim during the sessions is to give you dedicated time, unconditional positive regard, immediacy, a space to be heard, and feel supported; all whilst learning how to grow your own food and other life skills.
Cost: £0 with GP, social worker or psychiatrist referral. We do accept self-referrals as the first contact, but will require a professional referral following your first visit.
Criteria for Referrals
- Mental health diagnosis within Care Clusters 0 – 3
- Adult 18-65 yrs
- Northamptonshire resident
- Service-user has individual recovery goals and motivation to participate.
- Service-user has ability to engage with recovery programme which includes participating in reviews, goal-setting, occupational activity and social interaction.
1-2-1 Horticultural Therapy and Support
Would you prefer a 1-2-1 session where we can work together to grow beautiful plants and investigate your specific thoughts and struggles? Perhaps you are feeling like you are losing yourself as an individual, struggling with difficult and negative thoughts or can feel your confidence dipping.
We will do a mixture of practical gardening and wellbeing based activities that are suitable for you. All designed to help you understand your thoughts, calm your mind, give you head space, build your confidence and learn new skills.
We will arrange a set weekly day and time that works for you. You don’t any equipment…just a determination to feel better and improve your life.
Cost: £40 for one hour session

After School Club
Our fun, practical sessions are designed to help children relax, be themselves and explore their creativity. Whilst growing in confidence and resilience, and learning techniques to understand and manage their emotions.
Activities include learning to grow their own food, sensory play, nature based crafts, games and guided relaxation. Children will also have the opportunity and choice to work towards collecting a range of stickers and earning the Life at No.27 Award at the end of the term.
Suitable for: Children of all primary school ages, 5 years old +
When: Mondays: 3:45 – 4:45pm
What to bring: A drink and warm clothes if during winter.
Cost: £7 per week
