I’m beyond delighted to welcome Wiltshire based family business, Henchman to the Life at No.27 family and introduce them to you as a new supporter and friend of our work.
Henchman has specialised in safety ladders for over 25 years and now joins Empathy by Plantworks as an official Life at No.27 sponsor, helping to fund our vital work supporting struggling children and adults.

I have worked with the Henchman team on a number of occasions over the past 12 months, from trying out their latest products to collaborating on the massively successful Growing for Wellbeing Week 2020, so to confirm their sponsorship is very exciting. As you know, the work I do is free for those in need and I don’t receive government funding, so rely on generous donations and companies who truly understand like Empathy by Plantworks and Henchman. Their financial contribution and ongoing business support will make a huge difference to maintaining our current services and the growth of Life at No.27.
On supporting the enterprise, Henchman’s managing director Tom Kitching said: “We were only too happy to sponsor Life at No.27’s Growing for Wellbeing Week earlier this year and have taken the decision to align ourselves more formally with Annabelle and her great work moving forward. Safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do here at Henchman. It has long been known that gardening can support emotional and mental wellbeing, so it made complete sense for us to support such an inspirational initiative to boost mental health. We look forward to helping Life at No.27 grow and develop the range of therapies Annabelle and her team provides to young people and adults.”

As a way to try celebrate this fantastic news with you, I persuaded the team to offer you a cheeky promotion on their brilliant ladders and wheelbarrows.
Use the code ‘No27‘ and receive Rubber Ladder Feet for FREE when you purchase any of their fantastic ladders! Be sure to add the feet to your basket before using the code.
In the coming weeks I will be filming a special YouTube video with Tom, the MD of Henchman (socially distanced of course) to talk about their support and why Tom personally wanted to get involved. If you have any questions that you would like me to ask Tom, please pop them in the comments below and get ready to watch the video over on the Life at No.27 YouTube channel.
