Annabelle
Founder, Director, Horticultural Therapist and Wellbeing Practitioner
Annabelle founded Life at No.27 in 2019, following her own experiences of mental health challenges, trauma and therapy.
Annabelle is a qualified horticultural therapist and Level 4 student counsellor. She has also earned FHEQ level 4 Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy qualifications with Oxford University.
Annabelle works with an humanistic and creative approach, combining both physical activities, such as gardening, art and sensory play with conversation in her sessions.
She is a patient adviser and faculty member of the National Association of Primary Care and NHS. As well as a member of the National Autistic Society.

Helen
Counsellor – Towcester
Helen is a qualified counsellor based at our Towcester site, offering support to both adults and children.
She has over 9 years of experience across varying roles within social work and counselling for all ages.
Helen has an interest in Transactional Analysis therapy but the main approach that encompasses her work is Person-centered. She works with difficulties such as anxiety, anger management, bereavement, infertility, loss, personal development, relationships, self esteem, redundancy, stress and work related issues.
Helen is a BACP registered counsellor and follows the BACP Ethical Framework.
In her spare time she loves being outdoors and spending time walking. She also enjoys kick boxing, reading books alongside cooking using seasonal produce.

Jenni
Horticulturalist, teacher and student of Horticultural Therapy – Towcester
Jenni is a qualified and passionate horticulturist, also with 20 years experience as a teacher of English as a Second Language.
She has 3 years experience as lead garden volunteer at a charity supporting homeless people and is currently working towards her Award in Horticultural Therapy.

Zinnia
Fundraising Coordinator
Zinna joined in 2022 as our Fundraising Coordinator. Working to plan fundraising events, connect with potential sponsors and raise vital funds, so that we can keep doing our work.
She said: “I really enjoy fundraising as I like the challenge of raising money to support such an essential organisation.
In my spare time I love going out for walks with my little daughter, going to the beach running and baking.”
