I am beyond delighted to announce that Life at No.27 is an official partner to GLEE 2019 and I will be an expert speaker at the show every day.
As a successful professional gardener, wellbeing therapist and freelance writer with many years of senior marketing experience and consultancy, I can’t wait to provide knowledge and insight to visitors at marketing-focused seminars over the three days of the show.
On Tuesday 10th September, I will chair a panel with leading garden centre managers to discuss the value of community. On Wednesday 11th, I will discuss the relationship between people and plants, and the final talk on Thursday 12th, will see me provide simple and effective ways to make the most of social media.
Seminar Times – Retail Growth Stage
Tuesday 10th September – 12:30pm – Panel discussion: Turning customers into community and long term commercial success
Wednesday 11th September – 2pm – Rooting plants and nurturing minds – The relationship between people and plants
Thursday 12th September – 11am – Marketing strategy and social media – Simple, effective and low cost
Of course, like all my talks there will be goody bags courtesy of Empathy to take away with you as a THANK YOU.
What makes the partnership even more exciting is that… Life at No.27 will also exhibit at the show for the first time, on our own stand, number 19L62. Retailers can come say hi, find out more about the social enterprise and the community opportunities available to them, and exhibitors can explore and discuss sponsorship opportunities.
As you many will know, over the past 12 months, I have been developing and building a UK wide vision for Life at No.27 – creating a bespoke allotment-based support network to help change lives across the country, accessible through self-referral, GP’s, psychiatrists and local councils. As well as delivering wellbeing and national curriculum-based programmes in to schools to support those students of all ages struggling with social and emotional circumstances.
The first allotment site is due to open in Northampton in spring 2020 and additional sites across the UK will follow. This creates so many requirements, possibilities and the ability to help change many lives.
I can’t wait to get back to Birmingham NEC and see as many people as possible!
